SV	Zij dan namen wat Micha gemaakt had, en den priester, dien hij gehad had, en kwamen te Lais, tot een stil en zeker volk, en sloegen hen met de scherpte des zwaards, en de stad verbrandden zij met vuur.
WLC	וְהֵ֨מָּה לָקְח֜וּ אֵ֧ת אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֣ה מִיכָ֗ה וְֽאֶת־הַכֹּהֵן֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָיָה־לֹו֒ וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ עַל־לַ֗יִשׁ עַל־עַם֙ שֹׁקֵ֣ט וּבֹטֵ֔חַ וַיַּכּ֥וּ אֹותָ֖ם לְפִי־חָ֑רֶב וְאֶת־הָעִ֖יר שָׂרְפ֥וּ בָאֵֽשׁ׃
Trans.	wəhēmmâ lāqəḥû ’ēṯ ’ăšer-‘āśâ mîḵâ wə’eṯ-hakōhēn ’ăšer hāyâ-lwō wayyāḇō’û ‘al-layiš ‘al-‘am šōqēṭ ûḇōṭēḥa wayyakû ’wōṯām ləfî-ḥāreḇ wə’eṯ-hā‘îr śārəfû ḇā’ēš:

AC	כז והמה לקחו את אשר עשה מיכה ואת הכהן אשר היה לו ויבאו על ליש על עם שקט ובטח ויכו אותם לפי חרב ואת העיר שרפו באש
ASV	And they took that which Micah had made, and the priest whom he had, and came unto Laish, unto a people quiet and secure, and smote them with the edge of the sword; and they burnt the city with fire.
BE	And they took that which Micah had made, and his priest, and came to Laish, to a people living quietly and without thought of danger, and they put them to the sword without mercy, burning down their town.
Darby	And they took that which Micah had made, and the priest that he had had, and came upon Laish, upon a people quiet and secure; and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and burned the city with fire.
